In October, S&S Trails set out to add trail to the already stellar network at Barton Creek West. The new section was intended to be more of a challenge than the others, and offer some views that were not available at any other point in the area. The trail would be on the escarpment overlooking the very north end of Barton Creek.

In September and the beginning of October, S&S Trail Services was busy in west Austin at the Senna Hills neighborhood. Flooding had moved a couple of bridges and tumbled a few trees. The S&S Crew trimmed weeds and performed routine maintenance on most of the trail system, in addition to correcting the storm damage. One section of trail had cedar duff build up on the low side, preventing water from draining. This whole section was debermed.
